Customized Nutritional Meal Planning

1  |  The Challenge

It can be tricky to figure out what to eat for your health - there is a lot of confusing and conflicting information out there, not to mention that there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ regime or diet.

On top of that, you likely have a schedule, or a family, or both, and the pressure is on to meet everybody’s needs.

You want to try to ensure that your meals are nutritious and well-balanced, and that it all fits with your week ahead and aligns with everyone else in the household, but it is challenging.

It takes a lot of time to plan meals for the week and in a way that minimizes the amount of time you spend preparing meals, while yielding leftovers for lunches or other dinners.

Coming home after a crazy day at work and not knowing what to make for supper, can be stressful! At that point, one of three scenarios likely occurs:

  1. you default to a meal that you make all the time, resulting in:

    • same old, same old

    • unbalanced nutrient intake

  2. you go to the store for some inspiration, and head home to prepare the meal, resulting in:

    • extra money spent on the pre-packaged, less-nutritious, convenience foods, or a bunch of ingredients to prepare a full meal

    • extra time spent (going to the store, and back at home preparing)

  3. you decide to eat out instead, resulting in:

    • time saved on that night's meal (great!) but

    • extra money spent

    • does not yield any leftovers for lunch the next day, resulting in further money and time spent.

This session also serves as an information-gathering session, allowing me to collect as much information about you regarding your specific food likes/dislikes, cooking styles, kitchen set-up/tools, your weekly schedule/time constraints, family, etc.

  2. I go away and create your personalized meal plan, with curated recipes.

  3. You and I meet to review your meal plan and make any necessary adjustments.
